That's pretty much all I have to say to anyone who thinks this winter is "evidence" of the myth or exaggeration of climate change.

(38,613 posts)As I mentioned below, people tend to think of their own little patch as being the entire planet, and thus their experience isn't an accurate picture.

In reality this takes into account conditions around the globe, and those cold recrds, they are part of the more extreme weather climate change predicts.

So, whatever may be happening in your neck of the woods, or even nationwide, it's small potatoes as far as planetary temperature trends.
