deprive DUers of reading what they want. No one is forcing you to read anything you don't have to read. All anyone has to do is pass on going into a thread if they dislike the author rather than posting some of the vilest trash aimed at the author, thankfully some of it was hidden, in the thread. There is something wrong with people who become so obsessed with someone else on the internet that they cannot stop themselves, for years and years, from focusing on that person. Anyhow, DUers have spoken. They want to read what Nadin has to say and that is that.

I've had posts that received a lot of positive feedback and those that were widely panned. I am sure you have too.

Some people are their own worst enemies as far as inviting snark. An overly high estimation of oneself tends to be one of those attributes people comment on.

Anyway, I am high on her recent posts as evidenced by the number of them I have rec'd. I hope she keeps it up. Though it would be good if she participated in The Lounge a bit more. Some of this stuff would be right down their alley.

81. Yes, we all receive negative feedback on what we write, and that is fine and expected

on a forum like this. What has been directed at Nadin over the years, which I discovered a couple of years ago when she asked the community for help, shocked me frankly. Because it was bullying, aimed at the person and carried out by the same people over and over again. It was mean, nasty and never should have been allowed here. At first I thought she was exaggerating, I've disagreed with her, even went her ignore list over a disagreement airc, but that is entirely different than what she, as a person, was subjected to.

Not to mention the apparent coordination with the sick, foul, vile attacks aimed at her by one of the most disgusting group of right wing bullies on the site I don't want to mention in order not to advertise their existence.

Snark is fine, disagreeing with people is fine, attacking their opinions is fine, but cyber assaulting someone as part of a gang, is despicable.

And worse it appears that a few who were decent enough to try to stop it, were themselves banned, while the bullies survived.

Now the community, people like me who were unaware of it, many who are not necessarily fans of Nadin, but are decent enough to speak out whenever they see something like this so it's at least a bit more difficult for bullies to continue to behave the way they did for so long.
