Cummings believes that the hearings are political and that Issa is feeding information to Fox News that Issa has not made available to members of the committee.

In short, I understood Cummings to suggest that Issa is making a political mountain out of a molehill that was not political. The woman who was in charge of the IRS department accused of using a political criteria for selecting IRS files to be reviewed is a Republican. Cummings (seemed to me) suggested that Issa is trying to create a scandal where no scandal exists.
