Mitch McConnell Is Crushing His Conservative Challenger

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is crushing his conservative primary challenger, Matt Bevin, according to a new poll by the Republican-affiliated Public Opinion Strategies.

McConnell leads GOP candidate Matt Bevin by a whopping margin of 61 to 23 percent, the survey found. He polls about equally well, as compared to Bevin, with self-identified GOP conservatives, moderates and tea partiers.

The poll surveyed 400 likely Republican primary voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points. (Via Political Wire.)
