Why is PBS selling woo?

Are PBS stations getting that desperate, that "Dr" Steven Masley, who of course is pushing all sorts of supplements is given begathon time?

One thing I just saw him say, he wants everyone to take 2000 mg of vitamin D a day!

are causing you to miss the science it appears.

Their current guidelines recommend 1,500 to 2,000 IU of Vitamin D daily.

The minimal recommended by the NIH is 600 IU and that assumes sun intake and food intake combined just for proper bone health alone.

So it seems Dr. Steven Masley, woomeister or not, is correct in this case for optimal health and well-being.
