The GOP is unhinged with their racism. Ryan's statement is proof positive.
OK, Paul Ryan's recent statement is proof the party doesn't give one fuck about expanding their base of white males. I'd argue that this is their only strategy. They are holding on to dear life and they know it given the demographic changes. And I think they are trying to ferment as much racial animosity they can. Anne Coulter's recent screed is more evidence.
I mean he's using the "research" of a well known, grade A racist ass hat like Charles Fucking Murray for his source of eliminating social programs, while at the same time simply calling inner city men "lazy".
You don't have to have gifted hearing to hear this dog whistle. This is blatant. Hell I think he's even thrown Lee Atwater's playbook out. He may as well go running around yelling "n-gger, n-gger, n-gger". Read Lee Atwater's interview on the Southern Strategy if you're curious about what I'm talking about.
In case anyone is unfamiliar with Murray, he's the co-author of the "Bell Curve", the notorious pseudo-science book that used junk science and bullshit jargon to claim that African Americans are basically genetically inferior mentally than other races. Perhaps no other book has been used to "scientifically" justify racism and systematically incorporate it into public policy more in the last quarter century.
