Do Right Wingers really want a president like Putin?

He's very macho and very conservative. And I think he is also very dangerous. I just don't see anything good about the guy.

Do people really think we can just go start a war with Russia? No problem? Our president needs to show he is just as macho as Putin? What is it with these war mongers?

Scary stuff.

s complaining that Obama's response to Putin was "dumb, dumb, dumb." She just feels like Putin is a much stronger figure and makes Obama look dumb.

I quit arguing with her a long time ago because I think her politics are just plain dumb. And I don't want to waste my time.

a republican president who acted like putin would be cheered like the second coming of st. reagan.
a democratic president who acted like putin would be impeached and railed against for a generation.

anyone as long as he is white, male and severely conservative. It helps if he is a millionaire, professes his Christianity loudly and has a whole bunch of guns. That would be their "Harry Met Sally" moment.

Just think about it a minute....

Oppress minorities.

Poor endless amounts of money into the military while allowing citizens to suffer in poverty.

Vote for their party or you don't get to vote.

1% (or less) of the population controlling both industry and government.

Republicans have become that which they once hated most. The only notable difference is that they justify their actions by claiming that God wants it that way. Stalin wasn't that arrogant.
