Bryan Fischer only wants "laws from God"

Fischer never looked at the Constitution.

Fischer: The Role Of Government Is 'To Only Approve That Which God Approves'

Submitted by Kyle Mantyla on Wednesday, 3/19/2014 3:53 pm

On his radio program today, Bryan Fischer made the case that nothing that the Bible considers to be sinful can ever be tolerated or made legal by the government because anyone who holds public office is a "minister of God" with "a responsibility to use that authority in a manner that is consistent with the truth of God." As such, any law that gives any sort of protection or equality to gays is a violation of that responsibility because, in granting such rights, elected officials are abusing their positions in order "to approve something that God criticizes, to approve something that God condemns." Therefore, Fischer said, gays have no right to ever expect equal treatment from the government because "the responsibility of those in civil authority is to only approve that which God approves and to stand against that which He rejects":

You know if people called up his radio show and told him how HATEFUL he was, maybe he would get a clue, but he is probably so arrogant, it would never phase him. He is so Righteous...maybe his life should be looked into and examined for all the so call biblical laws he has broken.

They don't always say this shit in public, usually only behind closed doors. But their supporters in the religious community cannot stop flapping their gums. Nevertheless, they are all in the same boat.

Just find a bunch of people who think they speak for God and send them to Bryan Fischer. You could have an ayatollah, a rabbi, a guru, a brahmin and a dozen pastors from different denominations. Put them all in a room and let them argue it out to find out who speaks on behalf of God.
