Central African Republic: 'Massive scale ethnic cleansing'

The Central African Republic is ravaged by what some human rights groups are calling ethnic cleansing.

Mainly Muslim rebels seized power last year but after their leader was forced to stand down in January, Christian militias have been targeting Muslim civilians.

Newsnight's Tim Whewell has been in the Central African Republic and made the journey to Carnot in the west of the country.

White people have priority in the mainstream media, even though the conflict in Africa is far more deadly.
