Even more "disturbing" than Bill Gates dining w/ 80 ( Eighty) US Senators.....

and a bunch of other billionaires

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024683301

and presumably schmoozing and "makin' the rounds" and "pressing the flesh" and all the rest, is the fact that this event doesn't seem to have been reported anywhere.

I googled the event + both "March 13" and "March 14" and can find only Politicker and a bunch of pretty obscure blogs ( like the above, which quoted Politicker).

No NY Times. No Washington Post. No NBC-ABC-CBS. No cable networks. No heavily trafficked on line news sources.... that I recognize, anyway.

Strange. Someone with better search skills may have better luck. Be my guest.

If I'm right....... 80 US senators huddling w. a little gaggle of politically active billionaires on a Friday nite in DC and no one thinks it's newsworthy.... what's THAT all about?

Am guessing the payoff is higher at this event. If what you say is true, it is very alarming. Unfortunately nobody seems alarmed.

Business as usual in American politics.
