"It's been a busy first year in the Senate for Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). Since she entered the Congress in January 2013, she's become a liberal hero, a frequent YouTube star who turns dull congressional hearings into viral hits. She's pushed the government to lower interest rates on student loans. Protected vets from financial scams. Introduced legislation to protect poor people searching for a job. Called on banks to reveal their donations to think tanks."

If she wins, she better get single payer in that first term, congress notwithstanding, or else! I'm holding her feet to the fire. That is the proper thing to do, isn't it?

She's no one's "messiah." She's popular with a lot of people, that does not make her a "messiah." You do no favors to yourself when you do this and you do it often. Iirc, "Eddie" (as you call him) is also supposed to be a "messiah" yet no one on this board has ever claimed such a thing except you. In fact, if it's anyone but one of your much-loved corporate shills and they've achieved any sort of popularity, you claim they're the new "messiah."

Should not a president have her feet held to the fire at every opportunity? Should they not get single payer in their first term, regardless of Congress? Don't tell me the rules will be different for President Warren!

OP looks to the presidency to solve all problems and says Obama should have his feel held to fire, etc., yet it seems people not actually elected can always do better.

A friend of mine was writing about the Republicans today, and said this:

"THESE ASSHOLE TRAITOR TERRORISTS MUST BE STOPPED"

And that, in a nutshell, is why we need Bernie Sanders. He is the right candidate at the right time.

We must all beg and implore and even grovel before Bernie until he announces.

Our wildest dreams await. I exaggerate slightly, but not much.

shaming her for her IWR vote, that will be a powerful and memorable moment. I wonder if she will also bring up the drone attacks?
