This is what is being reported by WIBW in TOPEKA, Kan.

Margie Phelps, Phleps daughter, told WIBW-AM that there will be no funeral for him.

Over the weekend, we learned that Phelps was reportedly "on the edge of death."

In a statement on his Facebook page, Nathan Phelps, who has been estranged from his father for 30 years, said the senior Phelps was dying in hospice care in Topeka, Kan., and that he had been ex-communicated from his own church in August of 2013.

Also on CNN
But Shirley Phelps-Roper, Phelps' daughter, said Westboro will not hold a funeral for its patriarch."We do not worship the dead," Phelps-Roper told CNN.

No, "public funeral." Him and his mourners (moraners?) will get the peace they denied others. FSogol Mar 2014 #9

...but they can't face the possibility enduring taunts from detractors - assuming as they do that everyone else is just as hateful as they are.

...and the good is oft interred with their bones."
Shakespeare must have been channeling this dude. I would bet that there was a time when Phelps was a different person...one with more compassion and understanding. I don't know his bio, but most (in my opinion) people who choose a life of sharing the gospel, start out with good intentions.

I can't think of anything good to say about Phelps, so I'll leave it at that.

We don't want people doing to him what he did to other people. Not exactly living by the golden rule there.
