I can't even begin to count the depth and breadth of the stupidity on display here. This was an actual Facebook meme, but I couldn't get the picture to post, so I just copied the text of it.
And I'm embarrassed to say that this was posted by a RELATIVE of mine on Facebook. A relative who spent most of her life sponging off other people, defrauding creditors, having babies out of wedlock, and then in her 70s, she "found Jesus" and is a complete right-wing tool and religious whacko. True story: about 10 years ago, she moved back to Ohio from Florida in order to take care of my Grandpa (her father). She lived with him and spent up all his money before he died, so there was nothing left of his estate except a few assets that weren't worth much. She made off with a few of them (the ones she thought my mom--her twin sister, by the way--didn't know about), and moved back to Florida and bought a house with her brother and other sister (my uncle and my other aunt). But on her way out of Ohio, her last act was to essentially commit mail fraud, having the mail that was supposed to come to my Grandpa's house (which, at this time, would have been nothing but bills for my Grandpa's credit cards she ran up while she was living with him and not working) forwarded to a dummy P.O. Box somewhere in Kansas City. It was her way of making sure creditors would never be able to find her. My parents found out about that little scheme and thwarted it by telling the U.S. Post Office exactly where she was. Then, while in Florida, her brother and sister both moved out of the house they had bought, and since she had decided that she no longer felt like she should have to work anymore, the house went into foreclosure. She essentially decided she wasn't going to make any payments on the house, and would just move out whenever the Sheriff came by and told her she had to leave. She got to live in that house for like 3 or 4 years payment-free by the time she got kicked out. And what made it all worse was she was on Facebook all the time talking about, "Today I'm going to the beach," and, "Today I'm going to spend the entire day painting." And just like every scumbag like this, she totally landed on her feet. A couple of her daughters (my cousins), one of which is a doctor, bought her a condo, so now she can continue to sponge until the day she dies.
This is a profile of a person who, in old age, "discovered Jesus" and turned into a full-fledged, right-wing, religionazi. And she has the nerve to post judgmental shit on Facebook every 5 minutes. Oh, by the way, I particularly enjoyed her little diatribe a few weeks ago IN SUPPORT OF Arizona's anti-gay legislation. What a wonderful human being. Very Christ-like.
