Irate Friends See Sexism in Report on Former Christie Aide

She “seemed emotional.” She was “habitually concerned about how she was perceived by the governor.” A boyfriend had ended a relationship.

Bridget Anne Kelly has been the center of blame in the George Washington Bridge lane closing scandal since early January, when it was revealed that she sent an email calling for “some traffic problems in Fort Lee.”

Gov. Chris Christie, seeking to stanch the damage the scandal had caused to his political fortunes, fired her as his deputy chief of staff after that, calling her “stupid.” But the report commissioned by Mr. Christie and released Thursday doubles down on a strategy of portraying Ms. Kelly as duplicitous, weeping frequently and dependent on men for approval and stability.

An internal investigation found that Gov. Chris Christie played no role in closing lanes to the George Washington Bridge in September.

Though the lawyers who wrote the report did not interview her, they explain her conduct in unusually personal terms — she is out of the office attending to a family member who had been hospitalized; a brief relationship “had cooled” at the “behest” of the man, Mr. Christie’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien.

It looks like Christie is playing every dirty trick he can to save himself. The guy doesn't see how BAD this makes him look...way to go, Guv...piss off a LOT of women while you're at it...

Bridget Anne Kelly you have found out what it is like to be a member of the GOP boys club. Did you really think that they viewed women in a healthy manner? All you had to do is listen to what republican men think about women. Legitimate rape, some women are easy to rape, shouldn't have the right to vote, needs a boss, husband or father's approval for birth control; wants doctors and police to investigate miscarriages to make sure the woman did nothing to cause it and if she did felony charges. Need I go on??? Single mothers are to blame for the violence and gun deaths, single mothers are lazy leeches, single mothers are immoral.

Now that you are no longer needed you are a stupid, emotional, crying all over the place, lying scorned woman. They are telling this to the whole world. Your kids hear this, day in and day out. They have ruined your chances of ever having a decent paying job. Do you really think they will look out for you, still? They are only getting started. They are setting you up for jail time, I hope you look good in orange. Your mothering days will be over.
