woke him up from his 8 AM nap he takes after eating his 7:30 meal and he turned around with an annoyed look and went back to sleep.

Thank you dogs for your service.

Two legged dog, born with an infirmity that necessitated back leg removal, and his first experience at a beach. Now get off your lazy butts and do that run around the block you've been saying you were going to do days/weeks/months ago.

Dogs' brains are large and much of that wiring is used for their sense of smell and in the case of the
mudslide many of the victims are under 10 or more feet of concrete like mud, trees, buildings,
water, and rock .... those dogs let the rescue people know where they should dig.

I have read that they are now giving some of the dogs time off to rest up and get their senses back.

I remember in OKC they staged a few "happy live finds" for the dogs, to keep their spirits up
