I feel like Mickey from Rocky II

There at the end after Apollo and Rocky have beaten the shit out of each other and they both go sprawling onto the floor of the ring. The camera cuts to Mickey who is praying for Rocky to get up.

Every time I read another article, another post, about Democrats and midterm elections I become Mickey calling on some supernatural intervention to make Democrats get up and go vote.

Let's not lose to the Ted Cruz's of the world.
