Justice Cap Makes Your Face Invisible to Cameras

They look like your average ball cap, except for the fact that they’ve got a strip of high-powered LEDs on the visor. And it’s this strip of LEDs that makes all the difference, as they virtually black out your face from digital cameras and facial recognition systems. They work best in low-level lighting environments, such as when you’re in a club or outdoors when it’s dark out. That said, they won’t do much for you in broad daylight, although they may still conceal part of your face. "

One downfall of this I think is that you'd quickly draw the attention of anyone monitoring the cameras.

However, I'm reminded of friend of mine who used to love to ruin crowd shots by local TV crews with this shirt he used to wear. It had a distinctive, high-contrast diamond-checked pattern that made late-century video cameras go crazy by 'vibrating', thus ensuring that any shot he was in would be edited out before broadcast.

They come in handy when working inside a computer case so you don't need one hand to hold a light.

It isn't as if science has advanced to the point where some wavelengths of light can be filtered out of a photo/video. Maybe several generations from now some new Einstein or Newton will devise a way to defeat this technology, but until then we are all saved!
