Sen. Tom Barrasso (R-WY) is spokesman for Obamacare Numbers Truthers
Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) on Monday reiterated his claim that the Obama administration is "cooking the books" on Obamacare enrollment.
"We do," the senator said when Fox News' Greta Van Susteren asked if he stood by his comments. "We still don't know how many people have gone to the website to sign up actually paid so they actually have insurance, not just signed up on the website. That's number one."
Barrasso criticized the administration for not providing information on how many people who were previously uninsured signed up for a new plan.
"I don't know that we will ever get a full accounting," he told Van Susteren. "This is one of the least transparent administrations, if not the least transparent administration in the history of the United States."
On Monday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney both dismissed Barrasso's claim.
