2. Who did he paint ? His portraits of 24 world leaders include Tony Blair, Putin and the Dalai Lama

“I hope they take it in the spirit in which these were painted—and that was the spirit of friendship, and that I admire them as leaders and was willing to give it a shot in terms of getting people to see how I felt about them.”

3. So did Hitler's

Do I win the Godwin award for this thread? Honestly, I'm not the type who looks for any excuse to leapfrog straight to Hitler, but, as Dog is my witless, it was the first thing I thought of when I saw that simpering fool on my teevee this morning, explaining his 'art.'

4. Yes, but that's neither here nor there

It's the whole trying to clean up the image of this monster by making him into the kindly dad, son, and pet lover. If they stuck a pipe in his mouth, he could be the second coming of Norman Rockwell, according to NBC.

Wish he'd paint a picture of the shoe coming at his face. That's the only one I'd be interested in.

14. The bomb? I think 'bombed' is the term.

I think he was drinking apple martinis when he painted that mess.
