Can we be just a bit more civil?

Sometimes I read DU and, frankly, it's disturbing. We need to restore some decorum to DU, and there's no time to lose.

I'm talking, of course, about phrases like "water boarding" and "submersing people in ice water until they're nearly dead". Thanks to lots of research spending, America has advanced mightily in the area of using water to extract confessions. While a bit distasteful, and condemned by all civilized peoples, these techniques are needed to stop those who are after our precious bodily fluids.

But those phrases... Ugh! We need happier and more-descriptive replacements that help us to remember the end benefits of water play. "Freedom dunks"? "Bobbing for Liberty"? What do *you* think? Please share your thoughts!

Let's make the world a brighter place for our beautiful minds, shall we? Also, As long as the screams are in soundproof rooms, their screams don't really count.

This reminds me of how i tell jokes that i think are super funny and out of a large group only a few people laugh and the one who do are just like me. It's not that the other people don't get it. It's just that i'm kinda lame sometimes. LOL!
