(65,616 posts)Attracting too much attention could rule him out. Like a man that gets paid to host children's parties dressed as a clown.
FWIW I would NEVER get in that truck. Front or back.

(1,665 posts)There's guy with a station wagon like that in Milwaukee that's been driving around for years. He has some speakers mounted on top too that blare out some nonsense or another.
Also a right wing-er.
Since it's probably an actual mental illness, I'd assume those strike indiscriminately to either side of the left-right divide, but for the life of me I can't think of a left-wing beast like the OP truck, or the station wagon guy in Milwaukee. Does anyone have examples?
Here's a site with a small picture of the Milwaukee preacher-car:

The Magistrate
(95,247 posts)Years ago, wife and I drove up there, for no particular reason, just a get-away. Turned into a lake-side park and discovered there was some sort of anti-abortion rally going on, and there was this bizarre old station wagon there, made me wish we had brought a camera. Sad, sick stuff....

(26,449 posts)He changes the signage from time to time. Cruises DC during the day, I think he's sponsored by some megachurch in Co.
The best part is the topmost sign, which you can't see all of it in this photo, which reads" Stop the Insanity" it cracks me up every time I see it. He often parks it on the street outside my office.

Where is this?
At least you get a warning that the driver is dangerous.

(8,692 posts)It was in covered in handmade signs to the effect of "Jesus Christ Demands Death for ______" with supporting biblical passages, you can probably fill in the blanks yourself with a little imagination. There was also a sign that said "Oral Sex = Death", a couple about mormons and scientology and various anti-vax and chemtrail nonsense
The last time I saw it was probably around 2006 or so. My girlfriend at the time posed for a picture with it in the parking lot of the Walmart on McFadden Ave in 2004.
