Crazy idea how Democrats could counter "dark money"

The problem: Billions can be poured into a political campaign to do the bidding of one anonymous donor.

Instead of complaining that there is too much money per person involved, how about looking at the amount of person per money involved?

The Democratic Party could rework its system for campaign-contributions and especially demand the same from its PACs: Keep track of every single donation (regardless of the amount).
Who donated how much to whom?
Make. All. The. Data. Public.
All. Of. It.
Complete voluntary transparency.

And then attack the Republicans for not doing the same.
Attack them for being the party of special interests.
Attack them for using money from big anonymous donors from outside of that state.
Attack them for using money almost exclusively from billionaires. (Which politician likes to be called a billionaire's lapdog?)
Attack them for using foreign money via their PACs.
Attack them for refusing to disclose their major backers.
Party. Of. The. Rich.

Both parties are the same? Well, one party is showing off with loads of small grass-roots donations, while the other one rakes in billions of dollars that cannot be traced back and God only knows where they come from. One party is proud of its donors and one party hides them.

Make big anonymous republican donors the meta-message.
Honest vs. shady.
Grass-roots vs. billionaires.

Remember the astonishment among Republicans when they saw the Democrats go super-patriotic at their last DNC.
"They hate America! Fox News told me so! But, why don't I see this at their DNC?"

My idea hits in the same cut: Break their perception. Break the propaganda. Break the comfortable do-nothing-lie of "both sides do it", that the media perpetuates.
Be outrageously honest and different.
Force republican voters to think about what they have been told.

If they can, then this idea appears to have real merit.
