New Yorker Profiles Chris Christie. And it isn’t pretty.

Philadelphia Magazine Excerpts and this Synopsis:

"By the time you get to the end of it, I bet you’ll find yourself asking the same question I did: How could we ever have taken this bully seriously as a Presidential candidate?"

"...After another barb, Christie interrupted her (Joy BEHAR). 'This is a Byrne roast,' he said. He stood up and tried to grab her notes. The audience laughed awkwardly. 'Stop bullying me,' Behar said as he sat down. Christie said something out of earshot and Behar responded, 'Why don’t you get up here at the microphone instead of being such a coward?' Christie stood up again and moved in front of the lectern as Behar retreated.  'At least I don’t get paid for this,' he said.

"Christie sat down and Behar continued, though she was noticeably rattled. “I really don’t know about the Presidency,' she said. 'Let me put it to you this way, in a way that you’d appreciate: You’re toast.' " ....

Just before Behar got up, someone else, a former judge was giving Christie the raspberry. Christie was apparently uncomfortable, but didn't say or do anything about the man (August?). It was only when Behar, a woman, started in on him that Christie stood up and got physical.

Remember those confrontations his campaign posted on You Tube? The ones where Christie is standing up to some special interest person or another? Notice anything those people Christie was yelling at have in common with Joy Behar? I mean, if we hadn't been personally assured by Gov. Christie during his press conference that he's not a bully, it might look a lot like Christie's a bully around women. And yes, the one person in the whitewash report who gets absolutely no slack just happens to be a woman, too.

It's an amazing coincidence that the people Christie gets after all just happen to be women.

I wish there was a way to prove this negative: Christie never bullies men, only women. This would really place him in an indefensible position with whatever supporters remain, except the misogynistic teabaggers, of course.
