On MSNBC just now, coverage of the Congressman caught on security cam kissing his event scheduler.
Congressman goes on and on about how he plans to earn the trust of his constituents.
News piece ends with the information that the smoochee "has been removed from the payroll." (This OP is based on that phrasing. I don't know the paticulars of her termination.)

"Removed from the payroll" for what? Bearing the mark of Lilith or some shit? That lip-having jezebel, waving those lips around... you know, how they do. I guess she's lucky she wasn't stoned to death by the Congressional Christian Values caucus... temptress! Devil!
Is the problem that she was engaged in an office romance? Or that adulterers are too morally fallen to work in a Congressional office?
If so, wouldn't the Congressman resigning at the same time be more on-point?
