Thank you for what you said about focusing on the lives of women in America will bring the whole country up. And thank you for describing how few women are in leadership positions in America and far behind we lag behind the rest of the civilized world on this (78th!!!! according to Pres. Carter). Thank you for saying that you want to see the Equal Rights Amendment passed....and that it has been an issue for him since his Presidency and he cannot believe (like we women cannot believe) that it hasn't already been done....


THIS is why this mid-term is SOOOOO damn important....we NEED to take back the HOUSE!!!! It's really more important that WHO our candidate is in 2016 in regards to getting an actual AMENDMENT to the Constitution passed. ERA being LONG overdue! Look at how long ERA has been around and NOT happened....THAT is how hard it is to move to the left....we haven't even accomplished THAT yet!

Stop bickering and let's take back the HOUSE this November and actually get some shit done....Having all three will ensure WE move this country to the Left...those of you with the most complaining about Obama not being Left enough....PLEASE understand that the single most likely thing that could happen to ensure you get your issues taken care of....is to give the PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS the power to get them done!

4. The ERA was the first campaign I worked on back in the day....

I still remember all those hours on the phone talking to state legislatures and stuffing envelopes.

There is a shocking number of people who believe it already PASSED.
