Worker Ownership for the 99% - A Good Idea



This is a video is from 2012. It seems to be a good idea, bringing United Steelworkers, Mondragon and OEOC together to form worker coops. As the OEOC director said, studies suggest that worker coops are more productive. You can contact them to see what progress they may have made in the past two years here:

are the wave of the future. I belong to 2 credit unions, an energy co-op, & a farm co-op from whom I buy our LP gas. Great service from all of them, and it makes me feel good to know that my money goes to provide decent wages for workers rather than outrageous profits for indolent stockholders.

And with worker co-ops the employee owners have more control over their wages. Just look at the wages for the employees at the Alvarado Street bakery in MM's Capitalism: A Love Story at 1hour 0minutes 28seconds:
