I suffer from tinnitus.
It's a constant sound, like the one made by an watch.
I've had the problem for over 20 years now, and I cope with it by never being in silence.
I always have music or TV or something on.
Just saw on TV something that caught my eye.
"Effective remedy for tinnitus"
It wasn't until I saw a fleeting mention in the ad, "homeopathic" I knew it was woo.
Quackery.
(I think it was what is mentioned in this article, "Quietus."

This is how woo spreaders operate.
Appeal to those with chronic conditions, offering "relief" or a "remedy."
The fact they never can show any evidence their snake oil actually works, never fazes them.

I find my ears ring when i am stressed, and when i am not stressed, it goes away. One way i stress my body is to become dehydrated. So I drink water and it cures dehydration. Water helps me stay healthy. Is that woo, or what?
