WASHINGTON Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn over the weekend denied a report that she is considering a 2016 presidential bid.
Nah, the Brentwood Republican said at the Freedom Summit in Manchester, N.H. on Saturday. Not at all. No, I am running for re-election in Tennessee.
The report first surfaced on the website RealClearPolitics.com reported over the weekend.
If theres a door to kick down, shes willing to kick it down, an unnamed Blackburn aide was quoted as saying.

(2,795 posts)Does she honestly think she stands a chance? I suppose she does in her egotistical bubble she lives in. She is one of the stupidest people I've ever seen. Does she not remember what happened in the past when other dumb republicans go out into the land, outside the safety of Fox News or Meet the Press and have to answer real questions and be knowledgeable?
Have at it Marsha. It will be good for a few laughs and more than one

(2,097 posts)Now we still need:
- The Santorum spot (insert joke here), for a failed red-meat conservative tossed out of office 6 years ago. I nominate Norm Coleman.
- The Gingrich spot, for an establishment Republican forced to resign in shame 10-15 years ago. I nominate Tom Delay.
- The Cain spot, for a megalomaniacal businessman with more money than sense and exactly one (stupid) idea. Really, anybody will do.
- The Ron Paul spot. I nominate Ron Paul, because why not?
- The Mitt spot, clearly being handed off to Jeb.
Ok, that's one full clown car; anybody seen a cliff around here?
