1) If he needed postage, there's a machine in the lobby.

2) It's much easier to use the drive up mail box outside the post office.

3) Even if he had to go in to get postage from the machine, it's easier to drop the envelope in the slot in the lobby.

4) NOBODY stand in a post office line to mail their tax return. NOBODY.

5) Even if he was mailing his tax return himself, he still may have paid ZERO in taxes. Even people who pay nothing in taxes must still file if they made any income at all.

They're not talking about the amount of money you make - theoretically you could make a billion a year and file on form 1040A - but the number of supporting forms you need to file with it.

Romney, who files a return marked "two man lift," has one that big. We know he's not carrying a tax form - an extension request maybe - because the one return he released in 2012 was 3000 pages long. Ya know what? They don't get shorter as you go along.

Look at the position of his head - everyone else is staring straight ahead, Romney is looking down. It looks to me like he's reading a book.
