Look, I get it, it's Life, the Universe and Everything. To some, it is THE Question. But, judging by past performance, the question will be around after November. May I suggest instead, that if any of us feel strongly about either side of the question, we use our own beliefs/doubts to motivate us into action? After all, "by your fruits shall you know them" and arguing amongst ourselves produces no fruit.
For the atheists among us, there will be enervating occurrences some of which will motivate you to GOTV. (I'm looking at you South Carolina!
For the not-so-atheist here, remember; "God is On Our Side!!!" Okay, we are a diverse community, so maybe I should say "God/Allah/Xenu/Wotan/Erda/enter name here is on our side". I'd put up links to support this idea, but I'm not sure that would make anything any better...
No offense to any believers of anything, no one needs any crusades or fatwas or anything.
P.S. Can this kind of link be embedded so that the calender shows here?

(10,745 posts)I'm no atheist, but it is undoubtedly true that there is NO evidence that any one deity is the true deity, or that specific"gods" as have been conceived by the major religions, even exist(or that they don't exist, either). I suppose there could be something out there(that much isn't at all impossible), but if there is, I doubt it'll be anything we can even comprehend while still on this earthly plane.
But if it helps you motivate yourself, then by all means, more power to you.
