Lately, Chris Matthews has sometimes had slightly better ratings than Rachel Maddow. I noticed that Wednesday night, his show led MSNBC in the 25-54 demo 245,000 to 229,000 for TRMS, and also won overall for that evening 922,000 to 910,000 over TRMS. Ive been watching tonight and was pleasantly surprised that Joy Reid was subbing, and I thought to myself, was she subbing Wednesday also? Yep, she was! Joy led the night as a sub!

(15,438 posts)She's incredibly talented and fascinating. She knows how to put on a show that doesn't make my eyes roll fifteen minutes into it. LOVE the woman - one of the underrated hosts on MSNBC. Hopefully, with those numbers, she'll get the credit she deserves. That woman works hard, knows her stuff, and doesn't allow RWers to get away with their "half-truths".

(45,319 posts)She's network primetime anchor material. She makes much of MSNBC look like cable access. I don't always agree with her, but she's always flawless in her role as host or guest commentator.
