They may be worried that after Bundy's wages are garnished or he is arrested, the Tea Party nuts might want to blow something up and Fox will need cover. Not to mention, this issue turned out to be a huge dud for them.

As far as the conservatives I know, pretty much the only thing they get out of all of this is getting their rocks off at seeing so many people openly carrying guns and shit, and so it's just hunks of red meat for gun nuts to drool over.
