Just saw a segment on ABC news about horse-drawn carriages...

The mayor of New York wants to ban them, Liam Neeson advocates for keeping the carriages.

Are the horses being mistreated?
Maybe in some cases, but not city-wide.

for any new Mayor, particularly a progressive like DeBlasio. The tabloids are having a field day and it's an issue about which the average New Yorker really doesn't give a crap.
