She should do so before the Nov. elections. If the GOP gets control of the Senate (which certainly is a possibility) the best Obama could get through is a right of center moderate that would give the conservative Court assholes another swing vote.

Let Obama at least have the chance for a center left moderate. (I have no hope for a truly progressive to get on the court)
