Larry Klayman Calls For Obama's Overthrow After Bundy Ranch Standoff
Submitted by Brian Tashman on Monday, 4/21/2014 11:55 am
Even though his effort last year to attract millions of Tea Party protesters to the White House failed miserably, Larry Klayman still heralded the event along with an earlier event featuring Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, where he said sharpshooters were stationed on top of the White House ready to take out anyone who they deemed to be out of control as the beginning of a Second American Revolution. As such, Klayman writes today in WorldNetDaily today that this months standoff at Cliven Bundys Nevada ranch is now further evidence that Americans are ready to exercise our legitimate Second Amendment rights and remove [Obama] legally from office.

(54,770 posts)Don't think it is necessary to shoot people, but surveillance and selected arrests seem prudent.
Also, time to put a halt to the arming up of Americans. It's one thing to protest, it's another to shoot/intimidate when you don't get your way.

(16,844 posts)Charging Klayman with sedition would start a big argument about his 1st Amendment rights to express his displeasure with Obama. Besides, it isn't like Klayman is the head of a group that poses a serious threat to Obama in particular or the government in general. It's an election year, and I'm not sure how Obama and the Democrats would fare in an argument about Klayman's rights. Plenty of other people have said things just as bad or possibly worse (such as Ted Nugent) and they weren't arrested or charged with anything. I think the best thing to do is ignore it.

(46,318 posts)With rights come responsibilities, and Klayman is an irresponsible liar and rabble rouser.
You really think everyone who listens to and believes Klayman will be satisfied just protesting?
Look what Klayman says.
"2nd Amendment"
That means guns.

(16,844 posts)However, right now I think the best thing to do is to monitor him and the people who hang out with him. I think an arrest right now would be controversial, and I think the timing of it would be bad. Monitor him and his cronies and you'll probably find a lot more to charge him with. A lot of people are uncomfortable with arresting people because of things they say. It's just a controversy we don't need right now. If they're going to arrest him, wait until after the election and wait until he has more charges against him.
