Texas AG LIES about TX - OK Border Dispute, Calls it "BLM Land Grab"

Well, that's what the headlines should be saying, any way.

First some background information from the Oklahoma historical society:

http://digital.library.okstate.edu/encyclopedia/entries/t/te025.html

Here's the Red River Boundary Compact from the Texas Legislature:

http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/NR/htm/NR.12.htm

And finally, HJ Res 72 from 2000 where the US Congress gave consent for the Red River Boundary Compact:

https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/106/hjres72/text/rh

So, now that this is out of the way, you must understand that the border between Texas and Oklahoma shifts as the Red River's course shifts. Because of that, ranchers on both sides of the river have laid claim to the same land time after time. Here's a link to a story describing the problem as it sits because Oklahoma defines avulsion differently than Texas:

The Texas AG is using this dispute that has been ongoing for more than a century to play off the Cliven Bundy NV bullshit in order to appeal to his moron base, and nobody in the major media has the story right.

Greg is really not that bright. For example, he referred the idiotic James O'Keefe claims to a special prosecutor even though Greg had issued numerous official AG opinions showing that Battleground did not violate Texas law. Greg is too stupid to know what he had opined to. The Special Prosecutor had fun mocking the stupidity of the O'Keefe claims. http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/james-okeefe-political-disinformation

A Texas judge has slapped down an effort by the controversial conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe to put obstacles in the way of a major voter registration drive in the state.

The judge dismissed a complaint that arose from an incendiary video made by O’Keefe’s organization, which purported to show illegal activity by Battleground Texas, a Democratic group that’s working to register Texans to vote. The judge acted after investigators derided the video as “little more than a canard and political disinformation.”

The news is a win for those looking to expand access to the ballot in the Lone Star State—and for state Sen. Wendy Davis, a Democratic candidate for governor there.

Greg is a really bad attorney and the latest stunt is consistent for this idiot
