Un- Beeeeeeee- lievable. I tried 4 FN times to get a number and the robot on the other end kept telling me that there was no such listing. Then the bot hung up on me...and then when I called back and tried -0- to get a live body, it said no operators...and hung up on me again!!!
FUCK THIS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

(15,189 posts)Especially if it's for a person. They show you part of their number, them you click for info, and the next thing you know, they want money and a membership. Zabasearch.com is the only one I know, but even they still have missing info, and then you click to get more, and again, money and membership.

(21,054 posts)...not sure that will work. I am in Torrance, CA, right now and I am trying to find the number for a business in Santa Monica, CA. Between me and the biz is the 405 Frwy...on a Friday afternoon...ugh...and that seem like the only way I am gonna get in contact with this place.

(21,054 posts)...on Friday...CRAWLING using one knee and one hand would be quicker than the 405!
I tried Zabasearch already...but that is a good one.

(26,549 posts)For example, if AT&T is the one that covers that area, their directory assistance is here: http://www.corp.att.com/directory/
Hepburn
(21,054 posts)..I might as well crawl up the 405 to the place!

(26,549 posts)The site sucks, and the listings are from June 2013. But it may help.
Could also try Google Maps. Often businesses will keep that phone number up-to-date.

Try "The" google search.

(1,975 posts)It can do reverse phone searches (including cell), address to occupant searches, and criminal background searches in one fell swoop. Its a bit pricey, but I have never needed to use any other service.
