She stood on the corner of the second busiest tourist trap in Nebraska giving it away @ 4 PM

Marta and I went out to dinner last night in the Old Market Area. We parked the car and headed to dinner. On the way we saw her from a 1/2 block away. Right there on 11th & Howard she was sending out a huge smile. She was in a sun dress holding up a sign. A younger friend behind her was sitting on the old brick tree planter with a sign too.

"FREE HUGS"

Marta said no way to me. But she made several peoples day as we walked by. I was going to take her picture to post when we left, but she was gone. Maybe next time.

They were between the tree on the left and the stop sign.

They hold up different signs with positive messages and hug/visit with people. They're just these free and gentle spirits trying to make the world a better place. Crazy hippies. I love them so.
