(Racist LA Clippers owner) Donald Sterling Scheduled To Be Honored By The NAACP

In an unforeseen and, quite frankly, incredulous plot twist, it appears the NAACP–the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People–will be honoring Sterling at a dinner in Los Angeles on May 15th. The irony is, he’s been honored before, in 2009, despite having a checkered past concerning his views and dealings with people of other races, but none of the previous blemishes have been as damning or as blatant as this one.

The NAACP seems to be aware of the situation. Sterling was recently caught on tape telling his Afro-Mexican girlfriend not to associate with black people.

This is just the straw that broke the camels back.

So sad to see the NAACP so irrelevant corporate and out of touch as this calamity.

The Black middle class has been eviscerated and is ground zero for income inequality in the US.

Meaningless celebrity image awards while anti black racism has flourished under Obamas presidency as some whites come unglued.

The real standard bearer is the Southern Poverty Law Center - the NAACP is an obvious and pitiful shawdow of itself.
