David Gregory went full-blown partisan in today's MTP...

...even after and despite the recent reports that he was being psychologically examined by NBC (who denies such) to determine why the ratings for MTP have plummeted.

Today's MTP is all hardcore rightwingnut confederate tripe. He has and will learn nothing from his ratings.

It's almost as if he's spitefully piling it on.

1. I just watched the Tony Blair interview; here's my paraphrased transcript:

DG: Don't you agree that al queda's on the rise because Obama let off the gas?

TB: No, these are very difficult decisions about very difficult topics.

DG: So you agree that its Obama's fault, then?

TB: No, these are very difficult decisions about....

DG: So you think Obama should have done several things differently?

TB: No, these are.....

DG: Well, I'm glad we all agree that Obamas policies have been a failure.

Pretty uniformly tried to claim he carried water for Democrats and that is why his ratings were tanking. I am not the least bit surprised by this.

9. But are those articles true? (About who he carries water for)

Or is it just conservatives claiming that due to any time he failed to carry water for them.

My impression was that he mostly "carried water" for assorted Washington insiders, but then It's been a long time since I've watched more than the occasional clip of him.

13. This is how they have won the battle

four decades no, my entire life of awareness, the republican's have been screaming about the "liberal" press.

At first, the press just shook it off, but over time they started to lose their courage and started to bend to the right to try to appease the right wingers.

Republican's living in a fantasy world where anything other than spouting pure party talking points = liberal bias didn't see a difference and kept screaming all the same.

This media continued to bend toward leaning rightward having lost its backbone completely.

Then, the 90s saw the rise spiteful shitbags like Gregory, who know full well the line and just get off and spewing right wing nonsense.

Sadly, today, that is what we have, a predominance of Gregorys and Todds, with the rest of the media being scared shitless of being being called liberally biased.

even if I didn't catch it until the 1 a.m. rerun on MSNBC. It's good to know that I'm not missing anything since I don't have a TV now.

5. Spite is all they have left

since all their policies have been dismal failures for the country as a whole. Spite is what keeps Congress working maybe two days a week out of five and getting absolutely nothing done but grandstanding for morons back home.

He undoubtedly got wind of NBC's concern about his mental stability and is fighting back. They obviously wanted out of their contract and now they're just going to have to buy the cretin off.

8. This behavior probably indicates DG knows he is on the way out.

At any rate, why would anyone ever watch such a one-sided program?

NBC, ABC and CBS are all obviously biased and display a clear agenda.

10. Yeah, since he's on his way out there is no longer a reason for him to impersonate a journalist

All that's left is his audition for Fox "News"

14. Maybe that's his plan. Auditioning to go over to Faux News.

Or, he thought going even further rightward would kick up his ratings.

Whichever...

"Dances With Rove" was always what he was about, imho. Couldn't have expected much else from him when he took over "MTP."
