Tornado headed straight for Birmingham, AL. [expired]

Al Roker is holed up there in his hotel's Safe room, the ballroom.

edit: This threat to Birmingham has passed. Tornado weakened after going through Bessemer.

About 2 counties west of me, in a straight line coming at our county.
This is pretty normal during these kind of storms and usually what happens is it hits about 40-45 miles west of us.
i am watching it very very very carefully on radar.
