Embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a contributor, announced Bill Shine, Senior Vice President of Programming. Sterling will regularly contribute to FNCs Race in America coverage, as well as routinely discuss housing and business issues.
In making the announcement, Shine said, Mr. Sterling's experience and knowledge of business, racial matters and housing makes him a great addition to our ongoing coverage of the most pressing issues in America today.
Sterling recently came under fire after he was caught on tape making racially charged remarks to his girlfriend. The NBA earlier Tuesday banned the Clipper owner from the league for life and fined him over two-million dollars.
Shine, though, does not anticipate Sterling's recent history will negatively impact his position with FOX News.
"Sterling is an entrepreneur in the most American of ways. We believe he has an innate ability to craft a message that will fit in with the FOX News demographic. We're excited to have him on board and are confident he can flourish with the network," Shine said at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.
Neither the NBA or Sterling could be contacted for comment today.

Wow, Foxnews seems to think Sterling is good on racial matters...what more needs to be said, but that Foxnews is a racist origination and #1 with racists!

totally believe that.
Fox's demographic is 60 + white males, for the most part, I read.
sterling will fit right in.
And not as if he needs any money..he is being ham handedly used by Fox to capitalize on his notoriety.

Good satire is tough to distinguish from reality.
