I like how we vote I live in CA

Yesterday I got a sample ballot in the mail for the June 3rd Election.
I have over a month to decide how to vote on the issues and candidates. In a couple of weeks I will get the official mail in ballot.
This will be the same in Nov's election.
Yes I am staying home but I am also voting.

Though I vote by mail at times, sometimes I just like to vote in person at my polling place pinboy3niner Apr 2014 #3

I like absentee ballot voting too. I sit down and study my ballot and research right up until I vote.

It's so easy. If I want to, I can walk around the corner and vote in person, but I'll just take my time studying the sample ballot and vote by mail this time. I like voting for presidents in person, though.

Call me sentimental, but I get a real kick out of being there and seeing the citizens of my community turn out to cast their ballots.

I've never waited more than a few minutes to vote. It boggles my mind when I see the pictures of people lined up to vote. I've never experienced that. It's so wrong.

My sample ballot is sitting on a pallet down at the post office. It will be delivered on the first of the month.

I've been voting by mail for a couple of years, but I often wonder down to my preceint poll to read the tally on the machine see what the turnout is looking like. Interesting, a majority the registered voters in my neck of the woods vote by mail.
