a sorry mix of law and order attitudes, prosecutors looking for easy wins, declining youth budgets, for-profit jails, poor schools, and too many other things to list has made the "bad seed" kid too normal instead of as rare as it really is.

As a society, we often tend to jail our problems instead of solving them, and this is one result.

you know, that thing called Journalism. As opposed to what we get in US media. Anyone ever hear of this Truthloader website the report came from? I actually thought the reporter smiled too much, and was obviously reading a prompter... not quite a pro, but the content was engaging. I hope this brings enough light to the issue to affect change.

the establishment wants young people to be obedient employees, subjugated convicts, or cannon fodder in global oil wars.
