Crist leads Gov. Scott by 10 points in poll

TALLAHASSEE, FL (AP) - -
Former Gov. Charlie Crist is leading Republican Gov. Rick Scott by 10 points in a new poll.

The poll released by Quinnipiac University on Wednesday also found that 53 percent do not think Scott deserves a second term as governor and that 42 percent approve of the job he's doing.

Crist is maintaining his lead over Scott even though the incumbent governor's campaign has spent millions on television ads.

The gap between Scott and Crist is slightly wider than it was in a poll taken in January 2014.

There are several governor's races this year where Democrats or Independents have the best chances in years.

Florida would be a big win

I live in Georgia and while I doubt Jason Carter will pull this out ahead of Nathan "Let's Make A" Deal, the results are likely to send shudders through the state GOP organization

I've seen a few of Snott's commercials and as expected they
are packed with lies, exaggerations and hysteria. This sort of
thing is to be expected from this weasel one term governor and
Medicare/Medicaid plunderer.

Every time I see one of his commercials I throw it at the tv. If it were not for the sponge, I would be buying a lot of TV's.

Snott will be running ads denouncing Crists's "negative and vicious" ads.

It's already scripted. They probably even have a target date.

that given the choice between a Republican and Republican Lite, otherwise known as any centrist Democrat or shock horror a former Rep, they will always choose the real thing.

Apparently not likely in this case.
