Cliven Bundys family is urging his supporters to gather at Metro Polices downtown headquarters at 10 a.m. Friday to file criminal complaints against the Bureau of Land Management, according to the familys Facebook page.
It's CRIMINAL COMPLAINT TIME, the family wrote. We believe that the BLM acted illegally. We have decided to file reports at the Sheriff's Office. Together we can take real action!!
Officer Jesse Roybal, a Metro Police spokesman, said his office didnt know about the protest and couldnt comment. He didnt know if anyone in the office had been notified or if the department was planning a response. Roybal did say the sheriff has and will continue to work with both sides.
The Bundy message distributed this afternoon listed 10 suggested infractions Bundy supporters could base criminal complaints on, including: blocking access to public lands, blocking access to public roads, assault and impersonating a police officer ...

(118,278 posts)Nearly everybody in Clark County lives in the Las Vegas metropolitan area -- and Crazy Clive, the only rancher in the county, lives eighty miles away in the tiny unincorporated Bunkerville judicial district
I won't expect Gillespie to come out cheering for Clive, because Gillespie's bread isn't buttered on that side: the main pressure on anyone, in a position like Gillespie's, will be to keep everything cool and fun and happy, so as not to scare casino-tourists away from the gambling town

I think he only stuck around Bundy's place briefly, while the TV cameras were around. If he's not back home in AZ he's probably on the road speaking to gatherings of the faithful about states' rights, gun rights, Oath Keepers, etc.
