(36,926 posts)but hubby couldn't cope with it. He heard they root and tear up the yard. Plus when we visited a breeder, the piglet he picked up screamed bloody murder until he put it down! Did not exactly endear itself to hubby.

(26,449 posts)And in the barn yard there was a 3 legged hog. The farmer was out and I asked him about the hog.
He said that pig saved my life! I assumed the hog lost the leg in the process and asked the farmer about it.
And he replied hell no, it had nothing to do with his saving me. Seeing my confusion, he went on saying well, once a pig saves your life, you can't eat him all at once.
