Kaarma is going to find out that while his home might have been his castle, his open garage was not, and shooting first without finding what the kid was doing in there was a very bad idea.

This wasn't stand your ground, it was entrapment even if the kid had theft on his mind. The truth is we will never know if he saw that handbag and was going to knock on the door to make sure it didn't get stolen. He went into the garage and was executed.

Petty theft has never been a capital offense in this country, too many of us can trace our ancestry to people in the UK who were given a choice between being hanged and being deported to the colonies, usually as indentured servants. It was a tough choice.

Apparently, they have sensible jurors in Minnesota who saw murder for what it was.

I'm not so sure about Montana.

I'm pretty sure neither of them would even have been charged in Texas.
