Something I'd like to know more about:

what happened to Current TV.

It seemed like a great idea, and they made a lot of good moves. I'd be really interested to know:

(1) Al Gore's private thoughts about how things went down;

(2) Other post-mortem analyses.

To my mind, one of the biggest obstacles to all our other goals is the capture by the 1% of > 95% of traditional media worldwide –– and, by now, much of the internet as well. I have been continually mystified by Dem pols' seeming failure to grasp this simple fact.

That Obama delegated to Wheeler the power to destroy net neutrality, which seems to be all but a done deal, may prove to be among the most horrifying aspects of our fearless leader's administration.

I can't help but look back wistfully at the one serious Dem attempt to do something about all this, and wish I knew the inside story.

Direct TV carried them but I don't think many other providers did.
