...that Fox seems to have no shame in pursuing. But they are two entirely different beasts that don't merit comparison, and most people have enough intelligence to realize that.

The original post, however, is spot on: where was the outrage when those other attacks happened? Democrats need to bring that point up over and over and over and over and over and over and over again on all the media outlets (did I mention that they need to bring it up over and over again, enough to make the public as sick of it as they are of Benghazi?)

If there's any story here it's who leaked the emails and their reasons. Was it a disgruntled ex-employee with a simple grudge or something more sinister, say, to discredit and/or intimidate someone who was, I dunno, for example very high up in the State Department and may be thinking of running for a very high profile public office soon??

Had they been held accountable, their credibility would be shot and they would busy trying to defend themselves instead of going after anyone else. But for some reason, Dems don't seem to want to tangle with them and they take full advantage of that.

Clapper is another example, he lies to Congress and doesn't even get a 'stern warning'. The crooked Bankers get bailed out and we are told amazingly that no 'crimes were committed, what they was immoral but not criminal'. Well talk to some of their victims, and there are millions of them.

So I kind of gave up on Democrats standing up to them and when you don't stand up to bullies, they will keep on bullying.

So I checked it out. These were not the same as the Benghazi thing. First, the embassy walls were never breached in any of those attacks. They were mostly car bombings that took place outside the embassies. Second, those killed were, with only a few exceptions, not Americans. I know that those lives are as precious as any American's life, but the America public doesn't see it that way.

Look, I agree that the whole investigation is a desperate attempt at "getcha" by an increasingly shrill Fox News, and an increasingly desperate GOP. The whole thing should be dropped like a hot rock. But this attack was not the same as all those under the Bush regime.
